Join us this July for a three-day festival in the heart of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, in Republic. We’re taking over the Pine Grove Bar and building a stage for you to kick back and enjoy the soundtrack of summer, featuring bands from near and far!
Your favorite brands will be popping up shop to share some goodies and our best buds at the Pine Grove Bar will keep the drinks flowing. And of course, there will be some great food trucks on standby. Did we mention this event is free!
All are welcome, mark your calendars for the 2025 Summer Jubilee, Flower to the People. Don’t Forget to Register! We’ll be giving away some amazing prizes throughout the weekend—but you must be registered to win! Winners will be randomly selected during the event and must be present to claim their prize.

Pajamas
Pajamas are an Ann Arbor, Michigan based quartet that creates their own unique blend of psychedelic improvisational rock and funk music. The exploratory sound is born from a close and cohesive musical relationship. Incorporating elements of rock, funk, blues, jazz, hip hop, psychedelia and beyond, every live performance is a distinct and new.
Another One

Formed in Wisconsin, Chicken Wire Empire has emerged as a pioneering force in the Upper Midwest contemporary bluegrass scene. Fusing traditional roots with innovative genre-blending elements, the band has captivated audiences worldwide with their unique musicality and electrifying performances.
Jeff Winard Polka Band
Over the years, Jeff Winard has remained a favorite with crowds throughout the Greater Milwaukee Area, Midwest, and other parts of the United States and Canada where polka music is enjoyed. Jeff and his band known for their polka and waltz music in the popular "Yankovic Style" have remained a favorite at festivals, parties and other events where live music is desired. The style greatly appeals to a broader market than some other polka styles and has a unique way of creating an excitement level with audiences, even those that may not be "polka fans" initially. The Jeff Winard Band continues to be a favorite of young and old alike and has enjoyed much success over its many years of existence.

A Place to Land is a folk, Americana and bluegrass duo with a passion for music! In just the past two seasons, they have captivated audiences by performing 60 shows in just four months, entertaining the 1.9 million visitors drawn to the breathtaking beauty of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Now, they're excitedly seeking new "places to land," looking to broaden their horizons beyond state lines. Their ultimate dream? To share their heartfelt music with an even larger audience and inspire others with their remarkable journey.
Morning Train

Is this a consumption event?
Please note that the Summer Jubilee is not an official consumption event; public consumption by attendees is not permitted.
Do I have to register for this event?
While registration isn’t required to attend the event, only registered guests will be entered into the prize giveaways, which will be randomly drawn throughout the event.
Will there be food & drink available for purchase?
Yes! There will be food trucks available all weekend, and the Pine Grove Bar will be serving from a full cash bar.
Are there on-site restrooms?
Yes! The Pine Grove Bar will be happy to share their public restroom.
What happens if it rains?
Clouds won't get us down! This event takes place rain or shine, please dress accordingly!
Can I bring my dog?
Your furry friends are welcome but please note that you are responsible for the conduct of your dog.
Can I camp at the Northern Lights Campground?
There is no camping available at the Northern Lights Campground for Summer Jubilee guests this weekend. The site is rented out for staff only!
Is parking free?
Yes, parking in the public lot is free, and you're welcome to leave your vehicle overnight.
Is there a Lost & Found?
Higher Love assumes no liability for lost, misplace, stolen or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.
Lost & Found items are held for fourteen (14) days while we attempt to contact the guest. If guest contact information is incorrect or cell phone mailbox is full and we are unable to contact the guest during the fourteen (14) day holding period, the unclaimed item(s) are thrown away, given to local organizations, or disposed of accordingly by Higher Love.
Will I be photographed?
By entering the Summer Jubilee fair grounds, you are agreeing to be photographed or filmed.
Higher Love will be taking photographs and videos of the event for future promotional purposes. Vendors and festival goers consent to have their likeness, and those of anyone working in their booth, used in those promotional efforts. Likewise, vendors and festival goers may take pictures or video of their participation in the event for promotional purposes.
When is the U.P. Summer Jubilee in Republic, MI?
The 3rd Annual Summer Jubilee takes place July 11–13, 2025 at the Pine Grove Bar, with live music starting Friday at 1:00 p.m. and continuing through Sunday evening.
